The Ship Between the Worlds
The Ship Between the Worlds
When David Jones finds himself aboard a pirate ship, he knows it must be a dream. Except that he’s awake. And the ‘dream’ is more like a nightmare.

Before he can take it all in, David is swept up in the adventure of a lifetime: volunteered to act as a spy on an enemy ship, marooned, and picked up by the most fearsome band of buccaneers ever known.
Can he escape? The answer lies in the golden thread glistening under the sea – and everybody is desperate to have it. Could it lead David home, or to his missing father – or both?
Review: 'This is high octane, high drama on the high seas. It’s got all the fun of Pirates of the Caribbean, the action of Master and Commander and brilliant characterization that reminds me of the masterful Treasure Island.' LoveReading4Kids

Really loved it, couldn't stop reading. Very, very imaginative ideas- very interesting from a person your age(in a good way- as I have noticed your imagination gets worst as you get older).

Hi Julia. I just wanted to ask, where did your idea for the ship between the worlds come from? It's absolutely awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!
See FAQs - it came all in one go - which is unusual for me. J

The book is wonderful! I finished it in an hour, I loved it sssssoooooo much! To all of the readers that are looking for a good book, The Ship Between the Worlds is the one for you. And if you are looking for a good author, Julia Golding is the answer to your problem. It is a mysterious, short, and suspenseful story. It has a good, attention-grabbing beginning and end. Honestly, it's one of the best and it is one of my favorites. READ IT! READ IT! READ IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)
Thanks! If you can be bothered, do tell readers on Amazon - it really helps if I get good reader reviews!

Hi, I loved this book. I love all pirate books actually. A piece of advice, I know the Cat Royal sequel went so well now it's a huge series, but don't make this a series. I just can't see it being really unique if it is. Pirate books and films are all sort of following each other and when i read this one it was just amazing. Although half the people on the island were going bonkers (We live in the Carribean and ever since the arrival of Johnny Depp they've hated pirate films and books). You don't have to take my advice, but hey I only wanted to help.

Ship between the worlds is really good, but I hate our school library-the books are never in when you want them, and the librarian takes forever to buy in new books! grr, will u come an beat her up so she gets more of ur ace book?! Also, do u have any tips for an aspiring authour?
See FAQs for tips. Have you tried a polite request? I think violence might be a little over the top! J
