Hello! I have just bought the Water Thief, and am looking forward to reading it. I was just wondering whether this will be a new series or a sequel by itself? In any case, loved the original series and i'm sure I will love this one too!
Hi I'm not sure - it will depend how many I sell! It is a complete story but with possibilities for a sequel. Julia

hi now you've started up the series again (new series)? i was wondering are you going to start up the companions club again? I really really hope you do. Love your books!
No plans to do so as it isn't supported by the publisher (who ran it last time).

An impossible book to access as i can't buy it online. Love the Companions Quartet and all your books regardless and i've read every one from when Diamond was first published and Joss Stirling and Eve Edwards- you would think im obsessed. Keep writing. Thanks Sephy
Impossible? Available to anywhere in the world. If you don't do online yourself, you could ask you bookshop to order it in for you if you take them the details.

Hello,I from Russia. When the book Water Thief will be in Russia? Excuse for errors if they are.
I've not been approached by any Russian publishers so I don't know. You can read the English version now if you can manage the language.

I Love Love Love your Companions series! The Glass Swallow and Dragonfly are other faves of your books (Can't say for Cat Royal - not really my style, sorry) In the Companions series, at the end, Connie gained shapshifting abilities, Do others find out? How do they take it? Or will i find out in Water Thief? Which I just brought on my new Kindle! How on earth do you do it though?! AMAZING! Such a wide imagination and pen(wo)manship. Got any tips for an aspiring fellow author? My biggest problem is with names for the minor characters in my stories, with the major ones they simply click into place. How do you get your names? What about for those characters that, even though only appear for a page or so, but still need to have a name? I also get writers block; Do you get it, and if so, how do you overcome it? Personally I think I obsess I bit too much on the little details, but I still think them to be just as important to make it more real and believabe to the readers. BUT I do wonder if I should chill out and be vague with certain details, and not say specifically that it took two hours to go from A to B... Btw: Did the idea for the face paint and the strict rituals in dragonfly come from China/Japan? Bye for now...
Dear Marie Hmm, let's see if I can answer your questions. I think the answer is as you suggest: don't worry about the names, put a 'holding' name in place until you know the character better. Keep on writing through until end of first draft without worrying about getting it absolutely right - you can always go back once you've got the whole story down. The world of Tashi's culture has a strong mixture of the far East in there.

Dear Julia, Let me just start off by saying I loved the companions quartet, cat royal, and dragonfly. you rank as one of my top authors in those books. I am very compelled to read the next series.I also liked that instead of continuing with Connie, you skipped ahead to George! Good idea! Sincerely, Racheal

i would also like to know if lulu uses paypal? thanks so much for these books, i have read loads, i spent about five years not knowing about others in the series, i thought scrt of the srns was just a brilliant un finshed cliff hanger and then not onlly do i find out about the sonn-to-be-extended companions quartet but also abotu the whole heap of others that are out there waiting to be read!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know - I think so as it is a big professional site, but you'd have to go through to checkout to find out for sure.
wise-hoof wrote on 11 December 2011:
are there any well trusted websites (like amazon/ebay) that sell your book as a paper back? and that use paypal? thanks, keep writing!
It should filter through the system to be listed eventually. Lulu is well known and used by these sites too as well as the Barnes and Nobel site etc.
